Featuring some of Singapore’s best vocalists supported by the funkiest cats on scene - Nolan on keys (Australia), JP on bass (SG), and former James Brown drummer Erik Hargrove (USA) behind the kit - Ruckus plays some of your favourite old-school soul classics with grooves so deep you’ll need to come up for air!

you definitely want to be part of.
Nolan Bradbury (Australia) - Keyboard/Music Director
Having worked with countless Australian and international artists as both a Music Director and accompanist, Nolan has co-produced and performed with numerous cabaret and major event performances; including partnering with the international mega-retailer, Target, to create, co-produce, and arrange the annual Waterfront Christmas CD, raising tens of thousands of dollars for local charities.
After producing his debut CD in 2001, Nolan was recognised on a national scale when he undertook an onscreen role on Network 10’s Good Morning Australia , the while touring and performing with various artists from corporate juggernauts like The Peter Sullivan Big Band to the legendary Motown group, The Drifters.
Erik Hargrove (USA) - Drums
Erik is most notably known for the 7 years he spent performing all over the world with The Late
Great James Brown. During those years, Erik performed and shared the stage with Michael Jackson, Sting, Lenny Kravitz, Pavarotti, Elton John, Victor Wooten, Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley, Wynton Marsalis, Wycliffe Gordon and many more. After the death of Mr Brown, Erik went on to perform with the Living Legend of Funk – Bassist Bootsy Collins - and continued touring and recording.
Erik was sought out by Thailand’s Number 1 Drum Magazine “DrumNote” for an interview and to publish some of Erik’s drum set compositions; he is only the 2nd foreigner ever to be on the cover of this magazine.
John Paul (Singapore) - Bass
A key part of the band’s engine room, JP has been around music his whole life. Initially drawn to
the guitar, he made his way through performances spending hours listening and reproducing
the music he heard as closely as possible.
A move to the bass would change everything, and with little mentorship to build his skill base
he continued endless transcriptions of favourite tunes, all the while exploring live music with
countless artists and carving his way to become one of the rising stars in the Singapore music
scene.
These days you can see him holding the fort from pop to funk - even metal! - always looking for
his own pocket to best serve the material and musicians around him.

LA’s talents first brought her to Asia 12 years ago where she quickly developed a reputation for mesmerising audiences with her charismatic and energetic performances. Her eclectic musical tastes allow her to switch styles with ease and her passion for music shines through with every note.
